Welcome to Zen Transcendence Massage

Zen Transcendence Massage

Zen Transcendence Massage is a professional mobile massage therapy service that focuses on providing a safe and relaxing environment for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. The name represents the idea of rising above what is limiting us and finding true relaxation. The colors represent Connection, Clarity, Curiosity, Calmness, Creativity, Confidence, and Courage. Massage is just one of the many ways to help our minds and bodies tap into these qualities and traits within us. I believe in creating a space where my clients can unwind and let go of their stress as much as possible.

Mobile massage therapy is a type of massage service that brings a traditional massage directly to the comfort of the client’s home, office, or in a corporate setting.

What makes mobile massage therapy a good option?

  • Eliminates the hassle of driving or commuting to the massage clinic or spa

  • Promotes better relaxation in your comfort zone

  • The client can design a spa/retreat room in their own home

  • Work around busy schedules

  • Increased comfort

As a Licensed Massage Therapist, I will create individualized treatment plans to provide massage services to individuals seeking improved well-being. This also includes providing care to hospice patients and the geriatric population. My experience as a Registered Nurse has provided me with extensive knowledge in caring for individuals in these populations and I am committed to providing safe, effective, and therapeutic massage services that meet their unique needs. I believe that everyone deserves access to the benefits of massage therapy, and I am dedicated to offering compassionate, holistic care to all of my clients, no matter their background or care need.

It is very important for me to assist each client on their self-care journey as they discover how their bodies may be trying to speak to them. The mind-body connection is the link between a person’s thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and attitudes and their physical health. It means that our mental state can affect how healthy our body is, and vice versa. The mind-body connection implies that our body, energy, and mentality are in balance and cooperating.

While results are varied based on each individual, here are just a few common benefits of massage therapy:

  • Improved circulation

  • Decreased muscle stiffness and joint inflammation

  • Improved sleep quality, mood, & energy

  • Quicker recovery between workouts

  • Reduces stress, depression, & anxiety

  • Strengthened immune response

  • Digestive disorder relief

  • Improved flexibility

  • Increased feeling of overall wellness

  • Slow-stroke massage on Alzheimer’s patients helps alleviate some of the agitation expressions that come with the disease, like wandering, pacing and resisting.

  • Comfort and dignity with a focus on quality of life for hospice patients

**Please note: Rates are based on travel distance from my office to your location and time involved in set up/tear down of all equipment.**

Hi everyone! My name is Tara and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. I have spent 13 of those years as a Registered Nurse and continue in that role full-time. Throughout my nursing career, I have learned that I also have a desire to help the geriatric population and hospice patients achieve as much relief as possible. While traditional medicine has its place, my goal is to provide a holistic approach to this population as well as to anyone that just needs relief after a long day.

I am passionate about helping all people find relaxation and relief from aches, pains, and overall stress that we as individuals face on a daily basis. I may not be a cure, but I hope to be your facilitator in reaching the much-needed positive balance with what ails you.

Feel free to email me with questions you may have!
